TOM FLYNN

Director of Strength and Conditioning

Coach Flynn brings 25 years of training experience.  Flynn was certified with The American Council on Exercise in 1994 and added another certification with The National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2008.

Coach Flynn has trained multi-sport athletes from Olympic swimmers to Taekwondo and Figure Skating.

Tom began specializing with baseball players in 2007 and many of his athletes were selected in the MLB draft. Coach Tom has aided numerous Division 1 Baseball College Commits and has also maintained his training relationship with Anthony Rizzo for 14 consecutive years.

Tom gets tremendous fulfillment from working with the younger players and making a positive impact on their mental and physical development. He considers it an honor to participate in their growth as outstanding individuals and athletes.  Coach Flynn has programs for all players to get them bigger, stronger, and faster.  His programs also get the players mentally focused. 

DWAYNE PAYTON

Strength Trainer

Dwayne started his fitness career in the 90’s in Chicago. When he moved to Florida in 2003, he became involved with Autism Fitness and working with special needs populations. Since then, he has trained numerous special needs populations including cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and pre and post-surgery rehab. Dwayne has also done rehab and nutrition work with taekwondo fighters that were training for the US National Team.

On top of being a Strength Coach for TBT Strength, he also works as a physical education teacher for children on the spectrum with learning or physical disabilities. 

His certifications include ISSA Personal training, youth fitness, fitness nutrition and performance enhancement, FMS, Autism Fitness and IYCA youth nutrition and high school strength and conditioning. 

PETER IGWILO

Strength Trainer

Coach Peter started his journey at TBT as an intern and has since moved into a part time assistant trainer role. Peter has a real gift for working with younger athletes and can always make them smile during their training.. He enjoys motivating them and helping them develop both in the weight room and in their sport. 

Peter is originally from The Federal Republic of Nigeria and came to FAU to study biological science. His eventual goal is to use his degree and experience at TBT to enter the medical field.
