Jhunior Cordero played in the minor leagues with the New York Yankees from 1997-1999 and the Anaheim Angels from 1999-2002. He also played in the Venezuela Professional Baseball League with the “Leones de Caracas'' from 1999-2003.

Following his professional career, Coach Cordero worked for 13 years as a coach on “Colegio Americano de Guayaquil” where he won numerous titles with the 12u, 13u, 14u, 15u, and 16u teams.

Cordero also represented his home country of Ecuador in the South American Championship of 2012, Bolivariano 2013, and and the South American Softball Championships of 2016 and 2018. winning the bronze.

Coach Cordero joined the TBT team in 2021, and brings his passion and expertise to developing young players in hitting, fielding, and pitching.
