WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Baseline Assessment 

We put them through a series of functional movement tests which check their strength, mobility, and stability.  The tests allow our staff to come up with an individualized program to maximize development and prevent injury risks with corrective exercises.  

After the movement tests we will then warm up the athlete before getting on the mound.  We attack all angles of how they’re throwing the baseball using HD cameras and Trackman.  The video helps both our staff and the athlete have a complete understanding of what's going on in their delivery, analytics, and arm path that needs to be addressed.  We use the video analysis to break down the pitcher’s mechanics to make an individualized plan for their development. 

Our Trackman at TBT captures ball data to get concrete numbers of the pitchers’ velocity, spin rate, spin efficiency, spin axis, true spin, break, and many other factors that help in the development process.  Pitch analysis is vital when evaluating a pitcher’s arsenal, we use the information Trackman feeds us to help the pitcher maximize his velocity and movement on his pitches. 

Programming:

After the baseline assessment our coaches can identify the pitcher’s strengths and weaknesses.  Pitchers will then be given their own individualized program through our online system TRAQ which will have each athlete’s day's work out and throwing plan.  The program includes all their warmups, corrective exercises, individualized drills, long toss, bullpens, arm care and recovery.  

Progress and Testing:

Pitchers are constantly aware of their progress.  With our technology, video analysis, and TRAQ system our pitchers are fully aware of everything going on with their mechanics and improvements.  We always have our Trackman, HD video and radar gun capturing data during bullpens.  That data is relayed to our pitchers in real time, so they know exactly what's going on.
